We are so in love with our elf on the shelf Christmas pictures that we’ve decided to offer them this year again! Both backgrounds are included and we can do classic Christmas portraits first before dressing up as elves.
For the families that had it all… There are also these backgrounds available for custom photo sessions.
Barberries Photography studio is conveniently located in the River Oaks area, next to Montrose & Upper Kirby neighborhoods. We are no more than 15 minutes drive from the Galleria, West University, Rice, Montrose, Heights and no more than 30 minutes away from Cypress, Spring, Sugar Land, Richmond, Katy, Baytown, and other areas of the Houston metropolis.
Our pricing is very simple: 1 digital image is $100, 5 is $350, 10 is $650. We also offer a wide variety of printed products and gifts for your family. You will pick your package and any additional gifts together with viewing your gallery. Session fee doesn’t come with any digital images (photos) or prints.

Yes, well-behaved pets are welcome! Please let us know in advance if you plan to bring one so we can prepare accordingly.
Can I arrive earlier to change into my holiday attire?
No, please plan to arrive right on time. Each family has 25 minutes reserved, which includes time for any outfit changes. Arriving at your scheduled time ensures that each family can enjoy their full session without delays.
What is included in the $100 session fee?
The $100 session fee covers a 25-minute photo session, optional use of our wardrobe, and access to a variety of props and accessories. Please note that no digital images or prints are included in the session fee; photos are purchased separately.
Does the $100 session fee apply as a discount toward any photo package I choose?
No, the session fee is separate from photo packages and a la carte orders. Photos are sold separately to allow you the freedom to choose the package or products that best suit your needs.
What kind of editing is included? Will you airbrush my face and make me look skinnier and younger?
Yes, our standard editing includes airbrushing and various Photoshop enhancements to give you a polished, flattering look. Extensive edits, such as specific requests like face swaps, rearranging people’s positions, or adding or removing family members, are not included in the standard package but may be available upon request for an additional fee.
What is the turnaround time?
Proofing galleries will be available within 1-3 business days after your session. Once you’ve made your selections, final edited images will be delivered within 5-7 business days. This timeline ensures each photo receives the care and attention it deserves for a beautiful, polished finish.
Can I request rush editing?
Yes, rush editing is available upon request for a flat fee of $200. This option is ideal if you need your final images sooner than the standard turnaround time.
